Calling all artists!
We'd like YOU to design the cover of our 2010-2011 Stow School Directory! The theme is Friendship and the art contest is open to all Stow students who will be in K-8 in fall 2010. Return the completed form to your school office by September 10, 2010!

Thanks to everyone—especially our unstoppable Stow PTO volunteers—for making the 2010 Pompo/Center Picnic such a great success!

Back by popular demand! After a three-year hiatus, our Innisbrook Wrap fundraiser will be returning in the fall!
Beautiful high-quality wrapping paper, yankee candles, gourmet chocolates and more await your perusal in the glossy catalog which will come to you during the first month of school in fall 2010. Your opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping awaits you! Another great way to support the efforts of the SPTO! Look for it!

The SPTO needs you!
Several important positions are now vacant. Visit the Volunteers page and learn how YOU can become involved and really make a contribution!

What is the SPTO?

The Stow PTO PCSG (Pompo Center Support Group) is a parent group dedicated to raising funds to supplement and enrich the education of Pompo and Center School students. As a parent of a Pompo or Center student, you are a member of the PCSG. Throughout the school year, the PCSG funds arts and cultural programs as well as collateral materials to supplement and enrich the curriculum. All monies raised are used for the direct benefit of the students in conjunction with guidance from our principal, Greg Irvine, and assistant principal, Lin Winin.

Through the generous support of Pompo and Center families, last year was our most successful fundraising year to date! The PCSG funded cultural arts and science programs including the Bugman, the Swamp Ladies, WingMasters, Techsploration, several authors and storytellers. We also purchased much-needed desks for the second grade as well as current events magazines and assignment notebooks for Grades 3, 4 and 5.

Each school year, the monies we raise are allocated and expended in the following school year. We set a monthly meeting calendar and discuss upcoming fundraisers and plans for the school year.

With your involvement—be it in helping us coordinate or run an event or fundraiser or by supporting it—we can make this another successful year. That, in turn, will translate to greater benefits for the students.

We hope that you'll join us throughout the year!
