Throughout the school year, the PCSG and Hale PSG support programs as well as collateral materials to supplement and enrich the curriculum.
For Pompo-Center, for 2011-12, we are funding the following programs and dates:
- October 19, 2011: Tribal Rhythms (all Pompo program)
- October 28, 2011: Revels "An American Journey" (4th Grade)
- November 4, 2011: Ray LaChance North American Native Cultural (3rd Grade)
- December 6, 2011: New England Aquarium Tide Pools (1st Grade)
- December 12, 2011: Paulette Morin's Dinosaurs and Fossils (Kindergarten)
- January 3, 2012: Techsploration, Simple Machines (5th Grade)
- January 12, 2012: Discovery Museum's Lights and Lasers (4th Grade)
- January 25, 2012: Pumpernickel Puppets (Kindergarten)
- January 25, 2012: Rainforest Reptiles (2nd Grade)
- March 13, 2012: Discovery Museum's Physical Changes (3rd Grade)
- March 14, 2012: BugWorks (2nd Grade)
- April 3, 2012: Techsploration, Electricity (5th Grade)
- April 25, 2012: World of Jump Roping (all Center); school and evening
- April 2012 (TBD): Mass Audubon Birds of Prey (1st Grade)
- May 2-3, 2012: Young Audiences of Mass-Mother Goose (Kindergarten)
- May 11, 2012: Safari Greg (2nd Grade)
- June 1, 2012: Animal Adventures (3rd Grade); rain date June 4th
For Hale, we funded the following Arts & Cultural programs for 2010-11:
- Animal Adventures (7th Grade)
- Valerie Tutson's African Traditions (7th Grade)
- Museum of Science Planetarium (8th Grade)
The Hale Schoolhouse Rock Musical was held in February 2011. The 2012 musical will be "Annie". The annual play or musical is a self-sustaining event and does not derive funding from Hale PSG.
