Interested in volunteering your time for the event? There are many opportunities to get involved. Please contact the event chairs Gretchen Hunter or Stacey Almy.

The Arts Buffet Festival is one of the most popular and fun events of the year. Held at the Center School gym, young participants come and try their hand at a wide sampling of creative crafts and projects. Each year brings new and exciting crafts to interest a variety of eager hands as well as some twists on old favorites. There is an opportunity for the kids to display their musical talents through instrument and karaoke. This year the art department will have one art piece for each student displayed (matted and framed to purchase with no obligation to buy, details will be posted closer to the event). It’s a day you and your family do not want to miss.

You can help by contributing items needed for some of the craft projects: fleece (1/2 yard or greater pieces), flattened cereal boxs, clean coffee cans with lids, paper towel/wrapping paper tubes (no toilet paper tubes), magazine picture cut-outs (kid, sports, nature, cars), and old greeting card fronts (birthday, seasonal, thank you cards). Fleece is needed A.S.A.P. Items may be deposited at collection points at both Pompo and Center Schools.

This event needs volunteers. Full participation is what makes this day FUN for everyone:

  • Set up tables Friday afternoon
  • Set up morning of the event
  • Staff for the craft tables the day of the festival
  • Clean up crew (a quick job)
