Contact the SPTO

Every other year, in the spring, the SPTO holds an auction of goods and services. This event is our principal fundraiser. Goods and services are donated by area businesses, private individuals, and families, and include sporting event tickets, summer day camps, vacation getaways, and birthday party specials—limited only by the donor's imagination. There are also classroom gifts created by our own elementary school students, as well as works created by the schools' teachers and staff.

Where does the auction money go?
All monies raised directly benefit Stow’s elementary schools. The money is used to provide arts and cultural programs as well as to purchase classroom enrichment materials throughout the school year for our kindergarten through fifth grade students.

Thanks to generous donations from area businesses and auction buyers, our 2009 Bid Hello to Spring Auction raised nearly $43,000!

We would like to thank all area businesses for their generous donations, families for their contributions to the auction and then taking part in the auction, the auction committee for their tireless effort and commitment, the classroom project volunteers, and the teachers and staff at Pompo and Center. We would like to extend special thanks to the Stow Independent and to ET&L for helping us with advertising and publicity. Everyone came together to make this work. These contributions enable the SPTO to support and enrich the curriculum and programming for students at Pompo and Center Schools.
