Lip Sync '12 was another year of performance fun for kids and adults alike. We had two shows, Grades K-2 and Grades 3-5, with a total of 49 acts and 122 kids. We brought back the popular "mystery acts", this year featuring the teachers and administration as well as PC Penguin dancing to "I Like to Move It" with moving boxes as props. How fitting! Both shows ended with the grand finale "Cotton Eyed Joe" dance for all the performers.

The shows were coordinated and produced by Linda Harmon and Paul Trunfio, with emcees Jen Gero and Stephen O'Riorden. The SPTO would like to thank the many volunteers who stepped forward, including Nicole Hatlevig who "shadowed" the show this year and will be coordinating next year. Without all of the volunteers, these shows could not have happened.

On Tuesday, the 4th and 5th grade choruses as well as the 5th grade band of Center School treated parents and friends to a fabulous winter concert, featuring classics from Disney as well as Sound of Music. Thanks to chorus director Judy Dyer and band director Jessica Nolan for all their efforts.

We hope you are appreciating your Stow School's Directory! It is so nice to have all the school and student information consolidated in one place. Many thanks to all those parents involved in putting together the directory and to all the wonderful advertisers!

This year, we are treating families for the holidays... and sent by email a condensed PDF file of the entire School Directory. You are welcome to save that file to your computer, your smart phone... anywhere you think it will come in handy. It is a searchable document as well, so it's like having an electronic phonebook at your fingertips. That document is not on the Internet. Please remember that the information contained in the directory is for the personal use of Stow students and their families, and that any other private or commercial use of the information is prohibited.

Another possibility for you: We are offering an invitation to purchase an additional copy of the printed directory for $6. This is great if you need an extra copy for the car or for work (or if you end up misplacing it throughout the year!). There are 100 extra copies available for purchase (first come, first serve).
