The Stow PTO PCSG (Pompo Center Support Group) is an all-volunteer parent group dedicated to supplementing the education and experiences of Pompositticut and Center Schools students in Grades K-5, supporting teachers and staff, and building community.

As a parent of a "Pompo" or Center student, you are a member of the PCSG!

Throughout the school year, we engage in a number of Fundraising efforts to help us achieve our goals. This year, a non-auction year, we are focusing on leveraging our new Social Committee and are planning many exciting events. All monies raised are used for the direct benefit of the students with guidance from teachers and our principal Kevin LaCoste and assistant principal Karen Donato.

One key area of PCSG funding is through Arts & Cultural Enrichment (ACE) programs as well as collateral materials to supplement and enhance the curriculum. In addition, we offer a wide range of Services Support for both the school and staff. These include publication of the K-8 school directory and the ProjectPrep service to assist teachers in class preparation. We created a new Science-Engineering Enrichment Committee this year. And our Spirit Committee is hosts a number of themed days as well as visits by our school mascot "PC the Penguin."

Equally valuable is what we offer in terms of building a sense of community outside of the traditional school day. Our biggest annual events are Lip Sync in Winter, Arts Buffet in early Spring, and the Pompo/Center Picnic near the end of the school year.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every academic year month at 7:15PM in the Pompo library (and dates are in the "Upcoming Important Dates" column on the right). All parents are welcome! Please see our Meeting Minutes.

While we are grateful to all our officers and committee chairs, what we do year in and year out at the Stow PTO would not be even remotely possible without the many hours of help from our veritable army of volunteers!
